This itinerary can take place in Spring or Autumn
1st Day
Arrival in the hotel, welcome drink, dinner and overnight
2nd Day – Urbino and Gradara
Breakfast in hotel and departure towards Urbino, capital city of the Italian Renaissance and hometown of Raffaello Sanzio. In the afternoon, visit of Gradara, medieval village surrounded by ancient walls and towers famous for its fortress which reminds the dramatic love story between Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini, made immortal by Dante Alighieri in his Divina Commedia.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
3rd Day – Ferrara
Breakfast in hotel and departure towards the Renaissance city of Ferrara, admirable example of harmony and equilibrium kept through the centuries. Since 1995 its historic center has been listed by UNESCO as Humankind Worldwide Heritage. Here it’s possible to visit several monuments and historical places, the Este’s castle, Schifanoia palace, the Diamonds palace (which is the headquarter of National Picture Gallery, Modern and Contemporary Art).
Opportunity of a visit to Comacchio in the afternoon and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
4th Day – Verucchio
Breakfast in hotel and free morning. In the afternoon, departure towards Marecchia Valley and visit of Verucchio, a typical medieval village, hometown of the Malatestas and seat of an important archeological museum.
5th Day
Breakfast in hotel, free morning and return.
This experience includes:
